DIRECTION 25

The Principle: the app reads like a well-set document.

Built in the language of the TextingParents app-principles page: a colored band across the top, a soft tinted panel carrying the headline, small letterspaced eyebrows over every section, hairline tables instead of cards, mono for anything that is data, and a black code panel for the record. Nothing floats, nothing has a shadow, and the type does the ordering. Two variants below, because the language depends on a structural color and Pay Phone's brand is gold.

Faithful to the source: indigo carries the chrome, the eyebrows and the primary button. Gold appears only where money does, which is exactly the rule the brand already has.

What the language buys us: the app stops looking like a marketplace and starts looking like a record. The ticket set as a code block is the strongest single screen here, and it is honest: this really is the whole record of the call. Brand-pure: the same layout with no indigo at all
Identical structure, but the band goes to ink, the eyebrows and the accent go to gold, and the tinted panel warms up. This is what the direction looks like if the locked brand stays untouched.

The trade: B is unmistakably Pay Phone, but it loses the thing that makes the source page sing, which is a second color doing structural work while the accent stays precious. A keeps that tension. B keeps the brand.
DEVIATION FROM THE LOCKED BRAND
Variant A introduces indigo #2E2F9E / #4C4DDC as a structural color. That is a real break from "one gold everywhere", so it is flagged rather than slipped in. Gold is still money-only in both variants, the wordmark is unchanged, and the call screen carries no logo. Variant B exists so the choice is yours rather than mine. Everything else follows the standing rules: TP frame verbatim, canonical data, D4 privacy copy on the ticket.
