How it works.

Booking a real call takes about a minute. Here's the whole thing, honestly.

1Get the linkEvery celebrity and creator on Pay Phone has one verified page: their menu of calls, their open times, their reviews. You'll usually get there from their bio or a text drop.
2Pick your callChoose a length (5, 10, or 20 minutes), pick an open slot, pay with Apple Pay or card on the web. The price on the page is the total. There are no service fees.
3Take the callWe text you a join link. Tap it in any browser at your time, pass a 30-second camera check, and you're on. Afterward, your recording arrives by email.

The guarantees

The fair timerThe clock starts only when you are BOTH on the call. If they join late, you still get every second you paid for.
The no-show ruleIf the celebrity doesn't show inside the join window, you're refunded 100%, automatically, within minutes. No support ticket.
Your recordingEvery call is recorded for both sides' safety, and you get your copy. The download is yours forever.

Questions people actually ask

Is it really them?

Yes. Every payphone is claimed through the celebrity's own management and phone-verified before it goes live. The ✓ on a page means we verified the human, not just the account.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancel up to 24 hours before your slot for a full, automatic refund. Inside 24 hours you can reschedule once within 30 days. Full details in the cancel policy.

Can I extend a call that's going well?

If the next slot is open, a one-tap extension offer appears near the end of your call, at the celebrity's normal rate, charged to your saved payment method.

Do I need the app?

No. Booking and the call itself both work in any browser. The app adds reminders, your call history, and faster rebooking.

What am I allowed to talk about?

Almost anything. Calls are recorded and monitored for safety; harassment or explicit conduct ends the call without refund. Details on the safety page.

Who sees my phone number?

Not the celebrity. Your number is used for your join link and reminders. See the privacy policy.
