Draft v1 · 07/17/2026 · pending counsel review before public launch
What we collect
- Fans: name, phone, email, payment method (held by Stripe, not us), bookings, call recordings, and ratings you leave.
- Talent: identity and payout details (held by Stripe), menu, hours, call recordings, and performance stats like pickup rate.
How it's used
- To run bookings, reminders, calls, recordings, payouts, and refunds.
- To keep calls safe: automated screening of live calls and human review of flags and reports.
- Your contact info and the talent you book: when you book or join a talent's list, that talent receives your name and contact info as part of their audience list. That is a feature of the product, stated at signup, not a data sale.
What we don't do
- No selling personal data to third parties.
- No ads built on your call content.
- Talent never sees your payment details; fans never see talent's.
Recordings
Calls are recorded with both parties' consent. Fans get a personal copy (links live 90 days; downloads are yours). Talent keeps an archive of their own calls. Pay Phone retains recordings 90 days for safety and dispute review, longer only if a case is open.
Your controls
- Unsubscribe from any talent's list with one tap on any drop text or email.
- Request account deletion at privacy@joinpayphone.com; we delete personal data not required for open disputes, fraud prevention, or legal holds.
- California and EU residents: access, correction, and deletion rights honored per CCPA/GDPR.
Processors
Stripe (payments, identity, payouts), our SMS/email providers (delivery of booking messages), our video infrastructure and content-safety providers (calls, recordings, moderation). Each receives the minimum needed to do its job.
